"To me, there is something so magical about taking small bits of the outdoor world and creating highly interpretive pieces that fill a room with a lasting sense of organic form and texture. In this collection, I wanted the sculpture to be immediately lovely but with a twist...the branches gnarled and bent and the leaves full of vibration, in order to create something that is almost threateningly beautiful. That is the spirit of this collection."
